Hunters of Myth is a miniatures and terrain heavy skirmish game set in J’ODAN, a fantasy world resembling our world's medieval period, roughly between 500 – 1200 AD. Legendary creatures populate this wide world and dragons soar through the skies.To maintain the balance between the mundane and the fantasy, the Norse deity Ullr (pronounced ULL-ER), the god of hunting, has created a guild of various Viking warriors to travel the region, to find and eradicate monsters of myth. Shapeshifting ogres, demonic dwarves, and even wolf worshipping cults must be destroyed!Designed to play solo or co-op, you create a party, selecting from up to 6 classes, and explore the gameboard slaying monsters, finding treasure, and gaining experience. As the game begins, monsters are placed on the table, except for any bosses that are triggered by an event. Scenarios above ground, in dungeons and caves, and even aboard ships will be represented. This book includes 10 different epic adventures but look for future expansions that will include new scenarios and fresh unlocked player classes. Though each scenario will give you a list of miniatures needed for the quest, this system is considered to be miniatures agnostic (you are free to use any miniatures you wish or have, including for the Hunters).
